Baccarat
In the card game called Baccarat, two hands are dealt - one for
the player and one for the banker. Two cards are given each hand and
the closest to 9 wins. Face cards counts as zero, except the ace which
counts a 1. All other cards, regardless of their suit, have a value
corresponding to their given number. The rule of the game is really
very simple. The amount of the two cards must be added, and whoever
has a hand whose value is nearest to 9, wins. If the total of the sum
of the pair of cards has 2 digits, the first digit is neglected, only
the last digit will count as the value of the hand. However, if the
first two cards have a value of 8 or 9, it is called a "natural" and
automatically wins. If the total of the player's hand totals to 5 and
below, he or she may ask for another card. If the value of the hand
has a total value of 6 and above, the player doesn't need to another
card.
You may bet on on which hand you think will win; the palyer's or the
banker's or a tie. If you win, your pay off is equal to the amount
of money you bet. If you be 10 coins, you get your 10 coins back
and an additional 10 coins. If you bet on a tie, you get an 8:1 pay off,
meaning if you bet 10 coins, you get your 10 coins back plus
an additional 80 coins.
