Vegas Downtown Blackjack
Let's start with the basics. Vegas Downtown Blackjack requires two decks containing 52 cards each. These cards should be shuffled before the start of each game. Next, one should remember that he/she has gotten a Blackjack if he/she has any ten-value card and an Ace. This hand Stands automatically. Blackjacks can't be beaten. However, other players can try to match the Blackjack.
Players should know that the objective of this game is to defeat the hand of the Dealer. Victory over the hand of the dealer can only happen if the player has a higher hand or if the hand of the Dealer goes over 21. Having a hand that reaches more than 21 is called a bust. Note that Blackjack rules over all the other hands that amount to 21.
9 additional cards may be drawn so that any player can have eleven cards for a hand if he/she wishes. However, be reminded that the cards should not go over 21. After, eleven cards have been drawn and still the hand remains under 21, the player will automatically Stand.
There are some instances that the Dealer must do for certain situations. First, the Dealer will Hit if he/she gets a soft 17. Second, when a dealer gets a hand of Blackjack the game will have to end. Another round may then be started.
